hope winks through art as oneness restored

Losing control
oblivion bright
joyous justification
unconscious sight
obscuring the line-
hope to make it
home in time

Capable of higher suffering
seducing one to continuation
do you want to live?
impulse compliment consummation
do you want to live?

Ecstatic reveler
at once subject, object, poet, actor, and spectator
terrible essence fleets in pantomime
while phantoms proclaim their pleas
tortured for their wisdom
the sublime and divine
and to defy you
as I do

Cheerful pessimist
with righteous ruse
holy cackle crown
a predilection
prompted by overflowing
existence erections
(intrepid mood of youth)
defiant - independent - sacred fool
frightful and dangerous wrath
you higher men, learn to laugh
