Olivia Lyn Out of OZ

I wonder if Dorothy felt the way that I do now

moving back to a small town--to reality

to my roots--shallow and carelessly planted

not the kind I would have sown for myself.

The fantasyland clamor of wild celebrity glamor--of living daydreams replaced by the timeline

punching clocks collecting paychecks and making babies

We're not in OZ anymore

All spring, all summer, spilling into fall and now into…

Alex Grey Dawn of Planetary Consciousness

For us as for many, 2012 points to a new potential in human consciousness, a transitional portal in alignment with galactic center. While the world can still be seen as a roiling hell pit, a significant historic shift in values is also evident and many of us are experimenting with models of a…

Michelle So Pretty

My face looks wild.
Every curve accentuate.
Tired eyes, cracked lips.
If you know me, look for yourself here.

The dimpled temple, left lid;
less elastic from tears weight
over time. Maybe you created
a part in those permanent lines.

Did you light that glow there,
set this shadow here? So creative
you all have been. To make me
so pretty.

jsc Music Tips

I miss writing and recording. This was something I worried might happen if things got worse.

So it's been a long while, and I've felt that uneasy feeling inside me that I wouldn't get to do it again. Hopefully things improve and I get it together. I still have however a lot to look forward too, and this will come soon. The progress has been fantastic.

I hate doing vocals. I've always hated doing vocals. I hate the writing process, lyrics and all the screaming while…

the mind is a crunch machine in need of vaseline, in need of anything, of meaning, meaningless searches for, 10,000 times you open the wrong door. when at last stumble across correct, the multitude of forces re-direct, force too much perspect. too much thought. processing til the gears rust from the steady drips of the tear. jsc Alcohol VS Marijuana

Being a hypocrite for saying such things, because I do drink.

But for most people, that want to live a longer life anyways, I would recommend to cut down on the alcohol or just avoid it. It is a horrible drug and it kills. I've lost both my parents to it and it isn't a short quick easy way to go. It is a long painful and very traumatic thing to go through. I can give a first hand experience of what it is like dealing with it.

You retain fluids, your liver stops…

you've been so quiet

silence so sad

so lonely

so unwilling

surrounded by sickeness

isolated and unloved

neglected

you don't dwell in sadness but you are sad

unable to move

there is no light

no feeling of love within you

quietly you take responsibility

Olivia Lyn Blind faith in western medicine and my wish to losen it's grip

Where do I separate my heart from my head? While I have and do struggle being open hearted, I have never had trouble speaking my mind. However in the case of medical issues and those who have blind faith in western medicine, I find myself biting my tongue instead of speaking up. At least right away.

A woman I work closely with told me that she had to visit the emergency room this weekend because her blood preasure had dropped so low that she almost had no pulse. She proceded…
